MINDSOURCE – Brain Injury Network (MINDSOURCE) is working with the Cultural Competency Committee to plan upcoming trainings for MINDSOURCE and Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado staff. The committee recently developed a staff survey to gather topic interests and priorities and are now working on setting training events for the rest of State Fiscal Year 2020. In addition, the committee is in the final stages of developing a comprehensive policy on Cultural Competency & Inclusivity. This policy should be finalized and disseminated to stakeholders in January 2020. Finally, a scope of work has been approved to set up a webpage specific to Cultural Competency and Inclusivity on the MINDSOURCE website. This page will be utilized to house short training videos, upcoming training opportunities and general resources for cultural competency, inclusivity, and health equity.
